Kaylee Paige I am so proud of you. It is hard for me to come to the realization that KK is growing up. I can not believe she will be going to the middle school this year. David is building a shop, building, barn, "manhouse" whatever you want to call it. We had a little barn behind our big barn that we had to tear down this weekend. We were all ready for church yesterday when we saw Mr. Todd roll up in this big piece of machinery. Needless to say Aiden and David did not make it to church and Todd is now Aidens best bud. Mr. Colin Totherow has my heart. He is such a sweet baby--how could you not love those cheeks. Everytime Brooke and I are together I want to take his picture. I know for most of you this is not very exciting---WOW Robin eggs. lol But my kids are so excited and Anslee can not wait to see our daily update on the blog. Today we have two eggs. When we got home today we noticed that our birdsnest had an egg in it. We were soooo excited! We have watched as the little birdie built her little nest. Well I was real impressed when Anslee looked into the nest and said "oh look mommy it is a Robin egg." I knew I had never taught her that...sorry anslee. lol Anslee said Mrs. Teresa taguht her that at school one day. I was very impressed that she remembered that a Robin egg is blue. I give all props to Mrs. Teresa at Centertown.

I meant to post this blog last week, sorry guys I am late. David's cousins Jay and Sam Medley had a birthday last week and we all went out to celebrate. David, Jay, and Sam all celebrated their birthdays together this year. We are so lucky to have the Medley bunch in our family. They are all soooo good to us and our kids LOVE them!!!!! Christmas Programs

Oh how we love Christmas Programs! As parents we get so excited to go watch our kids up on stage performing. This year Anslee was in two Christmas Programs and Aiden was in one at school. Anslee had her first speaking part in our church program and she LOVED speaking into the microphone.Anslee said she was shaking and could barely hold the microphone but she was "sure we didn't notice since we were all smiling so much." Anslee and her best bud Emma Kate were little "hams" for the camera after the program was over. Reagan did a great job as well-she had a solo--Oh my she was soooo adorable=). Now Aiden was not so thrilled about his performance. He was more interested in flirting with "Laurel" behind him so we only got a backside view of him during the WHOLE performance. Oh well.....we were still so proud. My favorite part of the night was when he first got on stage and saw me. He grabbed his friend beside him and yelled "wook, wook, der my mommy" with a huge smile on his face=) I did not care what he did from that moment on. The best picture I snapped of Aiden that night was him running to the truck--check out his hair. Here are some photos I captured during our Christmas Programs this year. Enjoy=)

Tomorrow night is Junior Auxiliaries Christmas In The Park and I am sooooo excited! This annual event is huge for us as a nonprofit organization. It takes months of planning and organizing, but it is TOTALLY worth it. Getting to see all the children light up as they stroll the streets of downtown and take in all the activities is such a joy to all of our members. Please if you can make it come and join us Tuesday night at 6pm. (Luminary ceremony begins at 5:45)

I have not blogged in soooo long. I do not really have an excuse I've been busy with life (just like everyone else) and have not had alot of time for blogging. I really miss it though! It is a way for me to stay connected to all my blogger buddies. I hope everyone is doing well! Just a update for everyone. David and I are doing great! He is totally obsessed with the Dallas Cowboys this time of year and I am still in school and working part time at Centerotwn school. I love my job! Everyone is so welcoming and Anslee is just two doors down from my classroom. Aiden is at the learning house with Mrs. Christie and Mrs. Jen-Jen. He loves all his friends and Mrs. Sherry at the Learning House is just the best! When we ask Aiden who his best friend is he says "Mrs. SherSher" He LOVES her. Anslee was the same way--she has a way with my children:). So we are all doing well and I thank everyone for your prayers for my mother in law during her surgery. She is doing great and is on her way to a full recovery:)

Julie LaForte took the kids pictures last week. Oh do we LOVE Julie! She is soooo patient for those hard to photograph children (Aiden lol). We went to a couple different locations and the weather wanted to act up on us a few times so I can not believe the pictures turned out!!! We were soooo blessed that the kids had such a wonderful Christmas! This was the BEST yet. Anslee and Aiden got excited about everything they opened. Anslee was so thankful~I remember times when she was little and she would throw the gifts and ask what was next~I'm so glad she has matured out of that and has learned to be thankful for what she has. Aiden thought everybody's gifts were his so he really thought he racked up! I hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Anlsee loves all the teachers at the Learning House! We feel like they are our family! Anslee has fallen in love with Mrs. Tina this year. Well 1st day back was a double success! Thank you Anslee for your hugs and kisses as you left for your first day back to school. Well....Here we go again! Anslee Grace starts back to the Learning House tomorrow. She will be in Mrs. Tina's 4 year old class. Anslee seems more grown up now~it makes me sad to think this will be her last year at the Learning House~Surly she is not that BIG ALREADY! I still look at Anslee as my baby girl~I guess I always will. Tonight starts early bedtimes and chaotic mornings. I LOVE YOU ANSLEE GRACE!!!!

Stay tunes for Wednesday's blog--Aiden starts MMO class Wednesday. I really will be crazy then! Only two days a week for three hours~BUT still a big step for mommy!

Well Jen you tagged me so here we go... 8 things you may not know about the Miller family.

1. We are total nerds! We love to stay at home and really do nothing but hang out with each other. May sound boring to others--but it is some of our best times together!

2. Anslee Grace may look like a total girly girl, but she is a real action hero at heart. Her favorite movies are Spiderman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman~or any other movie her daddy likes. But don't get me wrong~This is her alter ego--SHE IS A HUGE GIRLY GIRL!!

3. Okay this is hard for me to admit but Aiden is a real daddy's boy. Most people see him with me all day~ but he has NOTHING to do with me as soon as daddy gets home. I have to admit it makes me just a little jealous since I carried him, nursed him, stayed home with him~they can turn on mommy so quickly~Just kidding Aiden I know you love mommy too!

4. David is a real goofball. Most people see him as a shy person, and he is until you get to know him really well--then you can not hush him up! He is definitely the one that keeps us laughing in the family.

5. I have decided to go back to school in January. This has been a real back and forth decision since I have had Anslee and Aiden. I want to finish my master's degree~but I really enjoy my family time--but I am ready to buckle down and finish so I can be done!!

6. Aiden will be starting Mothers morning out next week on Wed & Thur mornings~He will be in the same class as Emma and big sissy will be down stairs in the 4yr old class to watch out for him. Watch out Learning House Here comes the Miller Kids~LOL.

7. Anslee loves to draw~She wants to be an artist. Too bad for her that David and I both are terrible at drawing~she is actually better than us. Ashley Freeman is going to start art lessons with Anslee soon. We are excited about that!

8. I LOVE pictures. Okay most everybody knows this about me~But I do love taking pictures and have my kids pictures taken. My house looks like an art gallery of our kids. I can't help it~I am weak when it comes to wanting to buy pictures for the house! To me they are priceless!

SO my child is totally obsessed with John Deere Tractors! I guess he comes by it naturally from his daddy and Pop. When I take Aiden outside he will ride his "TACTO" until I have to literally pull his finger from the wheel. When we get inside he wants to watch his All About John Deere movie--OH my I think we have a true Farmer on our hands.
